if you are using the SVC transport on the mainframe with an Adabas 7 SVC, the limit is 32k per message. If you use Adabas 8 SVC or TCP/IP, the upper limit is 2GB per message - the limit is usually set lower within the Broker Attribute file, but doesn’t have to be.
