Email cannot be sent due to an exception when attempting to retrieve a JNDI

    None of the emails from the online store can be sent because the WSC throws the following exception:

    JMSMessageBean sendImmediate CMN0422E: The following naming exception has occurred during processing:
    "lookup(eis/JCAEmail)com.ibm.websphere.naming.
    CannotInstantiateObjectException:

    Exception occurred while the JNDI NamingManager was processing a javax.naming.Reference object.
    [Root exception is java.lang.NullPointerException]".

    The JNDI resource is correctly configured in the WAS. The platform is: AIX 5.3, WAS 7.0, WSC 7.0 Professional, DB2 9

    How can you solve this problem?

    Hi Sashir,

      seems that is your problem

      Order confirmation email cannot be sent due to a NullPointerException in WebSphere Commerce

    Hi Gabriel,

    Thank you very much for your reply. I had seen that page and in effect, turn off the PMI Request Metrics, but the problem still continues.
