When i try to edit documents with extension .doc, .xls, .ppt i do not see edit option with office online. The same edit option is available for docx, xlsx and pptx. The office online server supports all the above mentioned file types but still edit is not enabled for the above mentioned file types. Can any icn resource suggest on how to enable edit for file types like doc, xls, ppt.

This is expected, Office Online supports the newer office file formats only.
