Eclipse Plug-in for portlet development

Hi All…I am given the task of developing a portlet…I just wanted to find out what version of Eclipse do I need to use for the portlet development for the plug-in that WM provides to work…We are using MWS 7.0…and also I do not see any documentation for portal server in the MWS 7.0 Docs…So I am following the 6.5.2 version docs for portal design…

I tried installing the eclipse plug-in for the portlet development environment on eclipse 3.0v. I get a cannot access URL error when I try the steps in the documentation and in the details section I get Unable to access http://xxxxxxxx:xxxxx/portletDeveloper3/.
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default “site.xml” file. The root tag is not site.]
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default “site.xml” file. The root tag is not site.]
I was also wondering if anyone had documentation/steps to follow on portlet developing on MWS 7.0. We have MWS 7.0 installed. And I am trying to connect from eclipse V3.0,JDK 1.4.2. Let me know if you need more details.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

    Kamal

For Fabric 7.0, the portlet development tool is available from within your webMethods Installer.
