  • 1.  download files direct from AIX 5.3 to external disc or USB disc?

    I would troubleshoot your network performance issue. What kind of performance are you getting? I would check that both your ethernet card and switch port are set to the same speed and duplex setting.

    What is the PC NIC card speed and duplex ?

    Are you using ftp, sftp ?

    Are you connecting from PC to AIX server to get the file ?
