    Out of the four servers 1 server has normal menus. has any body incountered this problem. Am using secureCRT to connect. Thanks in advance

    I just figured it out.

    This was cause by the sdd driver. They were two entries for devices.sdd.52.rte and devices.sdd.53.rte.

    I removed the two drivers and removed the ibm2105 (IBM 2105 Disk Device)
    and restalled IBM 2105 Disk Device and sdd driver.

    To delete the sdd, it is required that sddsrv be shutdown. In order to do that you first must and delete all vpaths/hdisks which are housed on the 2105. To do that of course, requires that filesystems be unmounted and VGs varied offline. All this just to be able to meet the sdd design of using different rte filesets which are tied to the AIX level even though the sdd level is the same. To my knowledge, these activities aren't able to be done when performing NIM alt_disk_migration installs, so it's no longer as simple as "just a reboot". I have a PMR open at development level (since mid-Oct/05) to address this. Still waiting.
