  • 1.  Does Tamino Support XBRL Taxonomy and Instance document?

    Posted Mon July 27, 2009 04:25 PM

    Hi,

Well, i am new in tamino database. Can some one of you tell me that does tamino support xbrl technology in taxonomy and instance document point of view.

The other question is: i am trying to import .xsd file from tamino editor but its only support .dtd. Does it mean its only supported .dtd ?

if not, then how can i load xml object by using .xsd schema file into the database.

    Thanks

    Regards
    Ajaz

    Hi Ajaz,

Which version of Tamino are you using?
You might also consider contacting customers’ support.

    Some questions:

    • is there a process named ‘inosrv’ ?
    • Did you create a new database ?
    • Did you set up Apache (or another web server) as described in the documentation?
    • Is the web server listening on port 80 (check using “netstat -a”)

The URL to be used for accessing Tamino has the following structure:

/ A typical URL would be http://localhost/tamino/welcome_8_0 when using default port 80 for the web server and accessing the demo DB pre-installed with Tamino 8.0.

    Hope this helps
    Uli

    Hallo Uli,

    Thanks for your reply…
well i follow the documentation of configuration the web server regaring Apache, and i download and installed But when i tried to copy:
LoadModule ino_module modules/Apache2ModuleIno.dll to the APache httpd.conf file, (i opened this file into Notepad) then i am getting this error:
“cannot create APache/http.conf file, Make sure the path and file name are correct”.
i tried many time with my local and administrator rights, but have the same result.
Can you please tell me, what can be the reason.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Ajaz

    Hi Ajaz,

if you have installed the appropriate version of Apache, httpd.conf should already be existing. If you cannot modify that file, it’s an issue of the underlying operating system + configuration.

For further questions pls contact Software AG support.

    Best regards
    Uli
