Need to disable below options to report Authors in Cognos Connection 

1.       Home > Manage > Configuration

2.       Home > Manage > Storage

3.       Home > Manage > Content

4.       Personal Menu > Profile & Settings > My API Keys

5.       Personal Menu > Profile & Settings > My Stored Data

6.       Personal Menu > Profile & Settings > Logging

7.       Personal Menu > Profile & Settings > My Credentials

Home > Manage > People > Contacts menu can only show Cognos

The Manage menu only appears for users who are members of at least one Administrator role.  Please check your Cognos licenses before granting many users Administrator role.

The most effective method is often to remove the Authors role from default Administrator groups and explicitly define their permissions using the Customization tab under the specific role's properties.

To Hide Personal Menu Options

1. Log on to Cognos Analytics as a user with System Administrator privileges.
2. Navigate to Manage > People.
3. Click on the Accounts tab and select the relevant namespace.
4. Find the role you want to customize and click the More (three dots) icon next to it.
5. Select Properties.
6. Go to the Customization tab.
7. Click the Edit icon next to the Features entry.
