Different between ESB Document Type and IS Type Definition

  • 1.  Different between ESB Document Type and IS Type Definition

What is the difference between the assets ESB Document Type and IS Type Definition ?

I see that if I publish a Document from IS it creates an asset of type IS Type Definition in CS.

How can I create an asset of type ESB Document Type (with links to ESB Document Field) ?

With 8.2 the IS meta model for CentraSite was completely rewritten. The ESB types are the old model which left in for compatibility reasons in the short term These will be removed in a future version.

Thanks. I need to create assets representing the fields in a document in IS. There is a way to do that ? When I publish the document from IS to CS it doesn’t create assets representing the fields only one asset of type IS Type Definition.
