A patch, sometimes just called a fix, is a small piece of software that’s used to correct a problem, usually called a bug, within an operating system or software program.

In Software AG, fixes are released periodically and the customer will get notified via email if they have subscribed to it.

However, they also release a test patch (engineering fix) with some support key if the customer issue is critical and it should be fixed with a hotfix. SAG provides a patch to the customer and this patch will be included in their official fixes cycles.

If you have more questions, refer SAG Empower.
