    It was mentioned in the March AMA. 

    Basically 2.1.X will be the releasestream that get's rid of all the legacy products and only uses the REST API clients. So no more Perspectives, Architect (and others). Stuart also said in the AMA that the license description and the documentation get's a cleanup.

    Other than that the 2.1.X stream and the 2.0.X stream are the same. All updates for PAW, PAFE, PASS, TM1 Server will roll out at the same time with the same fixes/features but just with different release numbers.

    Also if I understood correctly once you switch to 2.1 there is no going back, since you basically convert your license to a 2.1 license (but without any additional costs).
