    Hi Guardium Team,


    I have received an request to decom GDE DSM appliances which are acting are Primary and secondary devices.

    Can someone please share the steps to be followed to decommission Physical DSM Appliance (Primary/Secondary)

    Please help with the steps.

    Hi,

    Did IBM GDE has physical DSM, thought only virtual DSM.

    Anyway, first ensure there is no more active VTE agent and encryption. If yes, you will need to decrypt it, and uninstall the agent.

    Make a backup of the systems and wrapper key, in case need to restore. Then you can shutdown the DSM or decomm.
