  • 1.  db update when upgrading ISVA10 to IVIA 11

    Hi,

    I am about to upgrade VA environment of ISVA10.0.2, cluster configuration, to IVIA11.

    Runtime database is external (DB2)

    There is an db update that should be executed during upgrade, according to documentation:

    As it is a procedure that has been copied from version to a version in the documentation, and it applies for upgrades 9 -> 10, I wonder if it is still necessary to do, when upgrading 10.0.2 to 11?

    Hi Mita,

    you should always run the db_update tool after an upgrade, which will take care of upgrading as needed (depending on the upgrade path taken).
