  • 1.  db-5.3.28-1 is newer than db-6.2.38-3?

    I had db-6.2.38-3 installed and tried to update krb5-libs to 1.18.3-1 which failed on dependency db-5.3.28. Is the db rpm back leveled?  Why the version change?

    rpm -Uhv ./db-5.3.28-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
    Preparing... ################################# [100%]
    Updating / installing...
    1:db-1:5.3.28-1 ################################# [ 50%]
    Cleaning up / removing...
    2:db-6.2.38-3 ################################# [100%]
