  • 1.  Datastage server memory problem

    Hello all.

    Can anybody help me?

    We had a server memory issue  on the Datastage prod that caused our job to fail.

    "cp_COE_FILES,0: Fatal Error: Caught ORCHESTRATE exception in parallel process: APT_Archive::BadPointer: From: Loading memory archive: Expected class "APT_FieldTypeDescriptor" , got class "APT_IR::Process" when loading pointer.
    node_node1: Player 2 terminated unexpectedly"

    Does anyone have any ideas where I can analyze?

    Hi Rafael,

    For this error check dataset in your job, one of the dataset might be gone bad, you have to remove that dataset either using orchadmin or OS rm command, and let parent job recreate it again.

    In case here, when rerun the Job worked.. maybe it's a temporary full dataset problem?  Its possible increase the dataset from Job?
