  • 1.  Datalink- Time Period Options Missing Data in Drop-Downs Menu

We were recently upgraded to 11.8.3.5 and we are currently using datalink 4.

    Browser Used:  Chrome

When updating the time period on a connector and selecting the "Specific Time" the connector experiences an intermittent issue in which it does not display months and year options in the drop-down.  Additionally it is not allowing for the ability to select "Calendar" vs "Fiscal Year" for the Calendar type.

The "Project: Bill of IT" connector prior to the upgrade would pull in the "Project: Service Costing" related file for the time period that was selected.  After the upgrade, it is uploading the "previous month (March)" file into the  time period selected on the connector.

    Hi Michael,

what happens if you click test and then try and pick the dates then? It could be that the connection to the server is either not working or hasn't initiated which is why you are seeing this.

If you continue to see this, I would recommend you open a support ticket, as this is not the intended behavior of the solution

    Hi,

I would definitely open a support ticket for this. The datalink team will then be able to help you.

    Thanks,

    Lauren Griessel

This issue is fixed in next release of datalink scheduled in May 10th 2017. Please file a support ticket to upgrade at that time. For now feel free to use a workaround:

Edit the connector, cut (ctrl+x) the value out of the "Domain" field then paste (ctrl+v) the value back in and both "Specific Period" fields will populate in a few milliseconds.

    Regards,

    Dan.
