Hi,

We have disabled the Cross Join on the Framework Manager Packages for all users. We have a need where we need to get the data from two different query subjects two different packages. (Without having updates to FM Package/Model to add them together in same package)
 
On the Report Authoring, I see an option to set "Cross product allowed".

However I don't see this allowing joins between two different packages. Is there any way we can still get the joins between query subjects  in two different packages?

Hi Chandra,
That is a current restriction in the product.
The only way that I know of working around this is: create a Data Module and add a reference to each of the FM Packages.
 Then base the report on this Data Module.
Another way is to create a dataset for each of the queries of the FM Package and create a Data Module that references these data sets.

There is an enhancement request logged for this. Did you already vote for this?
