  • 1.  CPLEX 20.10 on Mac getting error java.lang.NullPointerException

    Hi,

    I have tried to install Optimization Studio and getting an error. 

    IBM Version :  IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio V20.10 for OSX (CC8AVML )  
    Mac Version: macOS Big Sur - 11.2
    $Path :

    /Applications/CPLEX_Studio201/cpoptimizer/bin/x86-64_osx/:/Applications/CPLEX_Studio201/cpoptimizer/bin/:/Applications/CPLEX_Studio201/cplex/bin/x86-64_osx:


    The installation was completed without any issues but when I try to open Oplide I am getting an error. Here is the log file :

    Hi,

    Your version of MacOS (bigSur) is not officially supported, so you might need a specific version of COS.

    Are you an academic ?

    Thanks for your reply. 

    Yes, I am an academic. Btw I wanted to use this with docplex and I managed to do this by using execfile='/Applications/CPLEX_Studio201/cpoptimizer/bin/x86-64_osx/cpoptimizer , even though I couldn't get the IDE up. So I am fine.
