Content Provider vs Web Service Connector

    Hi Guys,

    So here’s my questions, when displaying a list of some items within a portlet by way of a flow service querying a database, do I need to setup a content provider as well as the default Web Service Connector that is created when you drag an IS service to a portlet?

    Web Service Output → Content Provider → Async Table on Portlet UI

    or

    Web Service Results → Async Table on Portlet UI
