  • 1.  Connecting to DB2 from Datapower

    Posted Thu November 26, 2020 12:07 PM

    Hi,

We are connecting to DB2 on cloud from Datapower using SQL DataSource object and SSL Proxy Service since it is ssl.

Now we have created a new DB2 which is for High Availability in cloud.

After creating new datasource object in Datapower with new configuration, it is going to Pending state. When it comes to UP, after triggering request its going to pending state again.

The configuration settings for prod db2 v2 HA instance are below:

    Hostname - 798c6af3-60e1-4368-b87c-4e3f9711f252.bu6tc4nd0urletsa6ufg.databases.appdomain.cloud

    Port - 31595

Please suggest how to resolve this.

    Thanks,

    Kranthi

    Hi,

you can try to trace the connections, described in the article below:

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/144889

You can also try to use packet capture to see if it is a communication issue. If these come up short, I'd open a PMR to get help from IBM support.
