  • 1.  Connecting to aws s3 bucket in MFT virtual folder management

    Posted Fri June 22, 2018 05:44 PM

I am trying to set up a virtual folder that will connect to an amazon s3 bucket. I do not see that option in the remote path drop down. Is this a possibility with this software ?

To do that Is your connectivity to/from S3 allowed from your IS/ATS DMZ in your enterprise network landscape?

Thanks for your swift reply. I am new to this software so I’m not sure I understand your question. Is that similar to a whitelisting?

I generated the key and retrieved the access key id and the secure access key but I do not see an amazon S3 protocol option like I do when I open up another manual transfer software like WinSCP

I believe you still need to have CloudStream connector for S3 to achieve this in IS/MFT. Please raise a ticket with SAG also.

Please raise a feature request at SAG Brainstorm portal. This is currently not yet implemented in MFT. At the moment, the workaround is to have Cloudstream server and to use AWS S3 connector to integrate to AWS S3.
