Configuring Pet Store API with trial API gateway

    Hi All,

    I am trying to configure the PET store API using the Trial version of API gateway. I was able to import the API and also able to invoke the Gateway URL and pass through route to the actual API.

    But I cannot add any threat protection policies against this. The reason being, I didn’t configure this to go via External port.
    I tried to configure an external port but I am unsure what configuration should I do in such a scenario where the API is actually over the internet. Given that this Gateway instance itself is not in the DMZ and a trial in the AWS cloud, can I configure an external API using External port?

    Hi Ninad,

    You can configure external ports in the API Gateway and have the right endpoint (of external API) in the routing policy for having the threat protection rules enforced.
