  • 1.  Configuring Load Balancing Between F5 BIG-IP and IBM MAS Manage

    Posted Tue July 30, 2024 10:39 AM

    Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to the community for some guidance on configuring load balancing between F5 BIG-IP and IBM MAS Manage. We've completed the initial setup using the documentation from the official F5 website, but we're encountering an issue where we're unable to log in to the application.

Has anyone here successfully configured this setup? If so, could you share any insights or steps that might help us resolve this issue? Any tips on configuration settings, troubleshooting steps, or specific considerations when working with F5 and IBM MAS Manage would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to your insights and advice.

    Hi Sharan,

are You using F5 as a load balancer for the OpenShift ingress or You want to only use that for Manage? The former is for sure feasible and there is a good article about that here https://access.redhat.com/articles/5889851

Can You access other apps running on OpenShift? like web console for example. What error are You getting exactly?

    This issue has been resolved.

The problem was caused by a "rewrite" policy for CSS and JavaScript - pointing to the wrong hostname. After correcting the hostname, everything started working properly.
