I know how you feel. It has taken us 4 years to get our IBM HW and SW contracts straightened out. Every year they make a mistake on it. Usually on the SW side. The only way we find out is when I call in for SW support the operator sends me over to the entitlement dept. A real pain.
You might want to check with the vendor/s you purchased the HW/SW from, if that's possible. We actually had a couple of our machines on our Hardware vendor's contract/account for some reason. We bought both the HW and the SW from them. They helped us get those systems registered back to our IBM account. And it was done with the serial number of the machine. But once the machine serial gets registered it links back to the SW contract.
