We are trying to prepare maintenance renewal quotes and if the OS has been upgraded, unless we have the serial number of the SW for IBM to confirm that the OS has been upgraded, we have to run RPO MES configs of each machine before they will issue the maintenance quote.

    You might want to check with the vendor/s you purchased the HW/SW from, if that's possible. We actually had a couple of our machines on our Hardware vendor's contract/account for some reason. We bought both the HW and the SW from them. They helped us get those systems registered back to our IBM account. And it was done with the serial number of the machine. But once the machine serial gets registered it links back to the SW contract.
