Althought still fairly new in the world of guardium but in general, I understand what a collector do on a Guardium deployment but I have yet to find documentation on how or what a Collector and/or Aggregator is made of? how they communicate to a database, what protocol they use?
How to they communicate to a third party database in an external cloud base setting?
I read there is a license for it?

Can someone direct me to the a detail documentation on Collectors even if they come from on outside source?

    Thank you kindly.

I would start with the IBM Learning Academy: https://www.securitylearningacademy.com/local/navigator/index.php?level=dsds01

For detail on Guardium components: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSMPHH_11.2.0/com.ibm.guardium.doc/getstart/getting_started_comp_arch.html

    External S-TAP (Cloud): https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSMPHH_11.2.0/com.ibm.guardium.doc.stap/proxy/proxy_overview.html

    Port requirements and protocols: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSMPHH_11.2.0/com.ibm.guardium.doc.install/install/r_planning_ports.html

    Thank You,
