CIFS mount point atributes not visible in df output

    I have production server where samba share from Windows Server is mounted as CIFS mount point in AIX. In last couple of events we have found that the filesystem attributes (like filesystem size, free space) etc. are disappearing autommatically and samba mount point is not accessible from AIX. This is AIX cluster setup and same mount point is available on other node as well. On the 2nd cluster node, same mount point is accessible (working fine) and hence we are suspecting that it is not windows issue. My AIX version is 7100-04-04-1717 and PowerHA version is 7.2.1.0. Did anybody faced this issue? Please help.

    Thanks for your response. Yes on both the nodes, OS version and SMB filesets version is same. Both are mounting same samba share, however problem is interminantly coming on either of the node. As confirmed by Windows support team & network team, they have not done any changes from their end.

    Okay. I think you open a PMR for it.

    This forum is mainly focused on AIX Toolbox and your problem is related to the cifs filesets that doesn't belong to AIX Toolbox.
