    I have used two ethernet ports in the HMC (eth1 and eth2), with the IP addresses from 10.1.1.0/24 (eth1) and 172.16.249.0/24 (eth2). I was intending to use 10.1.1.0 network for RMC and 172.16.249.0 network as remote administration network. All the LPARs are reachable from both the networks.

    Now it seems, all the partitions prefer to work on 172.16.249.0 for DLPAR and 10.1.1.0 was not used by any LPAR. How can I tell HMC to connect to partitions using 10.1.1.0 network for RMC? Did I miss something?

    I have assigned the 172.16.249.0 network gateway as the default gateway for HMC. Any pointers?
