can't load word document

    I have installed Tamino Non XML Indexer and with some documents I get the following error:
    ino:response
    <ino:message ino:returnvalue=“8711”>
    <ino:messagetext ino:code=“INOXPE8711”>Document not well-formed</ino:messagetext>
    ino:messageline
    Line 1, Column 117562: Got an unexpected trailing surrogate character
    </ino:messageline>
    </ino:message>
    </ino:response>

    Can anyone tell me why this happens? It seems to happen when the document contains makros but I’m not sure. The mentioned column is the last character of the document.
