I need to buy a new subscription for SPSS after a break from research. The files I have are from SPSS version 24.

I would like to subscribe and use the latest version of SPSS, version 27.

Would I be able to open the version 24 files with version 27 SPSS program with no issues?

You should have no trouble opening V24 files in V27. There is a fixpack for V27 that you should install, too.

You should know that there are a few small features that were dropped from V27 and that Python 2 code is no longer supported out of the box.

I see the latest interim fix is:

And there is also a fix pack released 11/18/20:

27.0-IM-S27STATC-WIN64-MD001

I should install both of these packs, is that correct?

I see three on fix central. I don't know what they fix, but you might as well try all of them.
