We have a couple of customers who are planning to migrate from SAP ECC 6 to S/4 HANA.

One of the customer is on webMethods 8.2 and another is on 9.8

Can webMethods SAP adapter ( on webMethods 8.2 and 9.8 ) be configured to connect to S/4 HANA?

Hi Sivaram,

Could you please let us know whether the customers are using SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise edition or the SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise edition hosted on AWS Cloud.

The SAP Adapter is certified/supported with SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise edition and we are in the process of certifying/supporting the SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise edition hosted on AWS Cloud.

The webMethods versions supported are from wM 9.0 SP1.

By any chance do you know when the SAP adapter will be certified and supported for the SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise edition hosted on AWS Cloud.

Hi Sivaram,

for IntegrationServer versions mentioned in this thread you should be able to use SAP Adapter 7.1.

Make sure you are using latest Fix for SAP Adapter and latest versions of JCo API libraries.

We are in the stages of finalizing procurement contract of SAP S/4 HANA On-Premise Edition on AWS Cloud instance from SAP and as soon as the instance is available we will be starting the certification exercise for the same.
