There is a dual port ethernet card having two interfaces ent0 and ent1.
Is there a way from AIX operating system , I can find out whether ent0 is top port and ent1 is bottom port on dual port card or vice a versa?

If I run lscfg on the ent0 or ent1 in the device specific <YL> flags I get T1 in ent0 and T2 in ent1 as the last two charactors.
    ent0: Device Specific.(YL)........UXXXX.XXX.XXXXXXX-X1-CXX-T1
    ent1: Device Specific.(YL)........UXXXX.XXX.XXXXXXX-X1-CXX-T2

Does T1 means TOP slot and T2 means bottom slot or is it opposite?

I searched the specs for the card but could not find these detail.

Is there another way other than physical inspection?

    Your response is appreciated.
