Can I reload rununit.properties without restarting service?

  • 1.  Can I reload rununit.properties without restarting service?

    Hi,

Because of my system has many transactions per hour, and it makes log file grow very fast and hard to read! (about 50mb/hr)

I want to use vgj.trace.type=0/512 to control the log file, but as far as I know,

if it brings into force, I need to restart egl service after changing the value from rununit.properties.

Does there have other ways to reload the rununit.properties without restarting service?

    My configuration:

    RBD 9.0.

    Java 1.7
