    Hi Everyone,

Does regular CAF support Angular JS and Bootstrap?

CAF doesn’t provide any official support for 3rd party javascript libraries, but CAF should not be incompatible with those. However, those scenarios are not certified and fully tested by SAG.

Integration with 3rd party javascript libraries would be much easier if you use the OpenCAF based projects using one of the recent releases after version 9.8.

If there is interest from the field for official certification of specific javascript libraries, then you can make a proposal in brainstorm @ https://empower.softwareag.com/Products/FeatureRequestsInBrainstorm/default.asp for consideration in a future release.

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes initially we developed our portlet using OpenCAF itself, but our tem is insisting us to use regular CAF as the webMethods where our team using is version 9.0 and they need to implement using webMethods 9.0 only.

Is there any way to use bootstrap in regular CAF? If yes, please share.

    Regards,
    Shashi Kumar

webMethods 9.0 reached End of Maintenance in June 2016 so I would encourage you to upgrade to a more recent version.

With that said, CAF has always provided controls for rendering external scripts and script blocks, so you may be able to make it work, but it just much harder to do.

But, I can not do that work for you.
