bindprocessor for java process on AIX 5.3 ?

    I tried but nothing:

    *I have 4 virtual processors:
    root@pwasp07 /nmon>bindprocessor -q
    The available processors are: 0 1 2 3
    root@pwasp07 /nmon>

    *The websphere process is bind to processor "0"
    ps -emo THREAD | grep p0 | grep server1
    APWZPRO 1028104 1 - A 0 82 96 * 242001 pts/3

    • I tried to change to "1" processor:
    bindprocessor 1028104 1

    • But nothing:

    ps -emo THREAD | grep p0 | grep server1
    APWZPRO 1028104 1 - A 0 82 96 * 242001 pts/3
