  • 1.  BIM Forge Viewer 3D Section is Mssing

    Hi,
    After installation and configuration of Forge Viewer I found that object 3D view section is missing on 3D View tab at all integrated applications: Manage BIM Viewer, Assets, Locations, WO tracking.
    I see that Maximo connects to Forge, but​​ 3D View tab is missing 3D section and 3D controls.
    COBie was uploaded and connected with uploaded viewable model. Looks like some MAM configuration or installation part is missing.
    Could anyone suggest where is the ​​problem?

    Using MAM 7.6.1.1 and BIM Autodesk Forge viewer plug-in 7.6.0.8.

    Hello Arkady,
       Below are a couple of items to check. 
    1. Have the system properties for BIM been properly defined?  Make sure the bim.viewer.active property = lmv
    2. Under Security Groups each application (Asset, Location, Work Order) has a permission 'BIM viewer tab'.  This needs to be checked in order for the 3D tab to display in each app.
    Also just an FYI, the latest Maximo Forge Plug-in version is 7.6.0.9 and can be found github as open source at the link below.

    Hello, There are a couple places to check your configuration.
    1. Ensure the BIM properties under System Properties are set up according to the instructions in the Maximo Forge Plug-in Install guide.  Specifically the bim.viewer.active = lmv
    2. Ensure the logged in user has access to Security Group with the proper permissions.  For each application there is a permission 'BIM viewer tab' which needs to be granted in order to display the 3D tab.
    Also the latest updated Maximo Forge Plugin is 7.6.0.9 and can be downloaded at the link below.

    Problem was in outdated plugin version. I've rebuilt ear with right v7.6.0.9 plugin files and 3D is alive now) ​
