    Hi Sasanka,
    Both are two different types of encoding that are handled by Universal Messaging… If you have filters on your trigger and these filters need to be evaluated on the server side, then the encoding should be ‘protocol buffer’. If you do not have any server side filtering in your triggers, then either of the encoding type will just work fine… This setting is on the trigger level and not on the server level so you can change to protobuf when required…
