    Though I tried installing the 5.3.0.10 level of X11 filesets, it said i require 5.3.0.0 of X11 filesets... but couldn't get from IBM fixcentral. Any help is greatly appreciated...

    You can not get 5.3.0.0 from fixes website, this is base package so available only on installation medium (CD).
