Automatic Failover for broker

    Hi,

    I got Brokers running in active passive mode in clustered environment.
    I want to do automatic failover and faLL back for them. There are 40 IS connecting to them in cluster and all the transactions are SLA driven. So the quick recovery in case of failure of anyof the broker is very important.

    Please help me on this. My environment is linux.

    Punit,

    You should refer to the 7-1-2_Running_Broker_in_a_High-Availability_UNIX_Cluster.pdf to understand different steps involved in configuring a HA Cluster for your broker.

    You would require to use some cluster hw/sw eg: Veritas, HP ServiceGuard, IBM
    HACMP or Sun Cluster.
