         We typically have failover exercises between data centers and I have a set of manual procedures that work quite well (saving the secondarieshowever it is time to automate. I amwondering if anyone else has done this and how. The following is the scenario:

    1. HDR Primary and HDR Secondary in one data center, RSS Secondary in another data center across the US.
    2. I need to make the original RSS a primary and the original PRI & HDR Sec both RSS. DRAUTO = 2 works quite well for swapping the 2 HDRs but will not failover to the RSS. We have seen issues using the Connection Manager ending up with 2 primaries so we want to stay away from that.
    3. In short my manual procedures swap the 2 secdaries first then use onmode commands to take the Pri down, make the new HDR Sec a primary, and then use oninit -
    PHY followed by onmode to make it an RSS. Obviously this is dumbed down some but I would be happy to share the full set of instructions with anyone wanting them.
    4. After playing with DRAUTO and determining it is not going to be a full replacement for my procedures, I am thinking of scripting this from our jump server which is trusted by all 3 Informix servers. Before I dive into that, I was wondering if anyone else is already doing this and if they are willing to share.
