    Hi everyone.

    I am researching Asset Condition.

I have seen an IBM tech note and from there located the condition data field in the Move/modify asset action.

How can I see an asset's condition code history?

This tech notes mentions condition enabled assets but the condition data field is greyed out.

I have seen that an item can be condition enabled but why not an asset?

How do I condition enable an asset (h may also not be related to a Rotable Item)?

    Hi Geoff,
Yes, my understanding is the same.  Condition enabled on assets only comes through condition enabled rotating item.  But note, you cannot condition enable an existing rotating item with associated assets.

    Thanks Richard

We'll have to figure out how to overcome this so we can apply it to Non Rotable assets.

Totally unsure why IBM have not allowed the function for all assets

    Hi

Asset condition can only be enabled if the Asset is linked to a Conditioned enabled Rotating Item

This is the only way but constraint is It has to be rotating.

In case you want to have conditions without making it a Rotating Asset, then only work around is to use classification attributes for defining the conditions, and later on building reports to get historical changes
