A couple years back I attended an API Management test drive session. The instructor indicated that it was likely/possible/on the horizon that API Gateway and Enterprise Gateway (EGS, formerly reverse invoke gateway) would merge. Anyone have info or a roadmap doc that describes that this is available or on its way? I’ve done a (brief) search of the docs and haven’t seen anything along these lines but hoping I’ve simply missed it.

I see in the API Gateway docs that it has the same setup for external & registration ports, so maybe that is my answer. Can a “plain” IS instance register with API Gateway in the DMZ? Or does the internal server have to be an API Gateway instance?
