  • 1.  Anonymous HTTPS port?

    Posted Tue May 08, 2007 02:40 PM

    Hi,

My client want to exchange data with a partner over HTTPS. The partner does not support any kind of authentication(!). The only solution is to have a HTTPS port without authentication (anonymous) and use the IP filter and firewall rules to exclude all parties other than this client for this port.

Is this possible in webMethods? I thought it was possible to set the authentication option to “none”, but this meens just username/password… We are running on 6.01, but soon 6.5. We use Trading Network and Reverse Invoke Proxy.

    Please help.

    frode.

PS: We also have a SOAP Attachment issue. Would glue help for this, and can glue also provide anonymous HTTPS port?

Minimum authentication is username/password, so you will need to at least have your partner pass these to the IS to authenticate them.
