    Hi,

    Is it possible to change the connection ports of analytic engine, data collector, prediction engine after the installation? I try to examine the conf directory but don’t know where ports are defined…

    Hi,

    Analytic Engine, Prediction engine and WebService Datacollector have two types of ports called Configuration Agent ports and Internal webService Registry ports.

    Configuration Agent ports: 15000–AE ,15003–PE and 15003–WSDC.
    These are the default port numbers.If you want you can change them while installing or after installation.
    After Installation, Go to webMethoids file system,

    AE:
    webMethods71\optimize\analysis\conf\system\EndpointRegistry.xml
    WSDC:
    webMethods71optimize\dataCollector\conf\system\EndpointRegistry.xml
    PE:
    webMethods71\optimize\prediction\conf\system\EndpointRegistry.xml

    and edit the EndpointRegistry and restart AE, PE and WSDC.

    Internal Webservice Registry ports:
    12503–AE, 12513–PE and 12603–WSDC.
    I guess we should not modify these default ports. I am not sure about this.
