  • 1.  AIX v6.1 Library install error.

    After installing 3rd party SCM tool, we were informed we needed to add libstdc++-4.4.6-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm for full functionality.
    All we get when attempting install is the following message:

    error: libstdc++-4.4.6-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm cannot be installed

    There is no further notifications. We have also tried the "--" option with no success.

    Has anyone run across this lack of message for an error? Are there any workarounds?
