I have an Aix 5.2 Box which runs on ML 8. so Last week when i tried to mount a file system it said to run fsck. So i ran the fsck over the file system and the error is as below.

    The current volume is: /dev/lvs1gCrdt

fsck: 0507-018 Superblock is corrupt and cannot be repaired.

Both primary and secondary copies are corrupt. Cannot continue.

fsck: 0506-042 Execute module "/sbin/helpers/jfs2/fsck64" failed.

So Could any one suggest me how to rectify my both the primary and secondary superblock.

    Thanks in advance.

IN worse cases you have to go for recreate the fs and restore it.
