As this is a partition that is actually a virtual client under PowerVM ; I wonder if the VIO server needs to be upgraded first before i do this AIX client upgrade ? The VIO server is running 1.5.1.1-FP-10.1.

    Does anyone have any experience with this ? Any input most appreciated.
