On the Netapp  Storage we configured some iSCSI LUNs.

The LUNs are available on the LPARs after cfgmgr. We did not add any VG on the storage, we want to use it as raw shared storage for an application.

But on AIX only one LPAR can Access the Storage (checked with devrsrv -c query -l hdisk). After I forced the LPAR off (devrsrv -f -l hdiskn) the next LPAR gets the disk. I am not able to set "reserve_policy" because iSCSI disk do not have that Attribute.

Similar use of Netapp iSCSI LUNs with Linux allows the sharing of the raw disk.

    Now my question:

does AIX allow sharing of iscsi disk and if yes how do I turn that Feature on?

HACMP or GPFS is not in use, and is not an option

    Kind Regards
