    We have a two nodes cluster, PowerHA 6.1 on top of Aix 6.1. We're using two Power P720 and a Storwize V7000 for data.

    Each node is linked to the Storwize V7000 through two SAN switches, each node has 4 paths to a volume.

    We also use Metro Mirror and Global Mirror with change volume to replicate data to two remote sites for DR plan.

    We've noticed that we have a lots of: PATH HAS FAILED, DISK OPERATION ERROR and PATH HAS RECOVERED from errpt, only Oracle's database volumes are concerned with these errors, and all of them are part of MM and GM replication.

    We don't see such errors for the rest of the volumes.

    What can cause such behavior?

    You need to due some problem isolation here. Summarize the frequency and time of these errors. Compare these time to the san logs.
