When it finished copying all the files from the CD, it rebooted and from that point on the IDE DVD-ROM Drive doesn't work. The cd0 device is listed as "Defined", not "Available" and there appears to be no way to make it be Available.

    After trying everything I could think of, including RTFM, RTF Release Notes, checking system and DVD-ROM drive firmware versions, out of desperation I reverted it back to 32-bit. Sure enough, cd0 is now "Availabe".

    Go figure?
