I am using AIX 5.3 and just new to AIX (specifically). Here on IBM Website I was looking for "admin guide" sort of document but didnt find one. There are many on command references and other things. But I dont need that. I want something that discusses all the aspects like creting users, chaning permissions, starting and stopping services and so on. Are you aware about any such document from IBM or from anywhere else. If yes, pleas do post the link here.

    Thanks

Seriously though I feel your pain. The formal IBM reference manuals are exactly that, for reference by people who mostly know what they're doing already. To get started you should look elsewhere especially at a really good idea in IBM land, "red books". Take a look at the following

    http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246191.html

which is about as close to a 1-book starter kit as you're likely to find.

Walking on the same track here I came to download pdf of admin guide but :( BTW till now I really love Oracle documentation. It rocks.

I continued searching and had downloaded the pdf, you gave the link of. Atleast something & more that I followed the right track ;)

    Lets see how it goes...
